Brilliant Telecommunications Chief Executive Officer Selected to Speak at NIST/ATIS/IEEE Workshop on Synchronization in Telecommunications Systems

Dr. Charles Barry presents on the importance of synchronization in Next-Generation Networks May 14, 2008

Campbell, Calif—May 14, 2008—Brilliant Telecommunications, Inc., a developer of next-generation synchronization and timing solutions, today announced that Dr. Charles Barry, President and CEO, has been selected to present at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Workshop on Synchronization in Telecommunications Systems (WSTS). The Workshop, now in its 18th year, is a unique industry forum that focuses on new methods of providing synchronization as telecommunications and data communications networks migrate from a synchronous to an asynchronous environment. The event will take place Tuesday, May 13 through Thursday, May 15 at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, Colorado. Dr. Barry will present on “The Importance of Synchronization in Next-Generation Networks” during Session Three – Applications, on Wednesday, May 14.

“Synchronization experts and leaders from around the world come together to the conference to collaborate and share new synchronization methodologies and their impact on network evolution from circuit to packet network environments” said Dr. Charles Barry, President and CEO, Brilliant Telecommunications, “The NIST/WSTS conference provides an open forum for interactive discussions that sets the stage for addressing the challenges in today’s next-generation networks.”
