Srinivas will be presenting on “Synchronization in the IP/Ethernet backhaul network” as part of the IWPC workshop agenda – Wireless IP/Ethernet Backhaul for Next-Generation Mobile Networks – Thursday, January 24 at the Le Méridien Gallia Hotel, Milan, Italy.

Significant increases in traffic volumes have forced operators to evaluate new technologies as an alternative to traditional T1/E1 leased lines to accommodate increased demands. Driven by the attractive cost of Ethernet services, serious consideration has been made for Ethernet-based solutions amongst operators. Srinivas’ presentation will highlight the need for accurate and robust end-to-end synchronization for the IP/Ethernet backhaul network.
